The hotel is conveniently located near a restaurant, a cafe downstairs, and L'Ancien Paquier in Valtournenche. the breakfast served was amazing, featuring local cheeses and homemade jams. the service provided was excellent.

The family running the hotel provides recommendations on where to ski, where to go for dinner, and local attractions. The location is perfect for those interested in skiing at Cervinia or Zermatt. The rooms include all the necessities for a comfortable stay, and the food offered is local and delicious.

Some of the rooms were a bit dark with small windows and heavy wooden décor, but with all the necessary equipment for a suitable stay. Some noise from traffic can be heard in the morning, but the hotel was peaceful overnight. The beds were slightly hard for some, but nonetheless comfortable.

the location of the B&B is perfect, right in the center of town, allowing for easy access to day hikes and restaurants. the family room for 4 was clean and comfortable, and the owners were extremely helpful with suggestions for hikes and dining options. I also loved the fact that they have their own ice cream shop on the ground floor, perfect for a delicious snack after a long walk. the breakfast spread was spectacular, with homemade pastries, regional cheese, fruit salad, yogurt, and scrambled eggs. I highly recommend L'Ancien Paquier Chambre D'Hotes for a memorable stay in Valtournenche. Cons: Nothing not to love! 😊.
